Job Summary: This Level II engineering position will support a new product development project as a Supplier Quality Engineer. The role focuses on working with new components and raw materials, developing supplier relationships, establishing inspection methods, and ensuring supplier qualifications. The engineer will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure inspections align with project timelines, review and approve documentation, and investigate nonconformances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and support inspection processes and documentation review.
- Provide technical support for inspectors and inspection activities.
- Assist in project deliverables, including the qualification of components.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align inspections with project milestones.
- Review and approve supplier documentation and reports.
- Investigate and resolve nonconformances related to components and materials.
Key Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple inspection and documentation processes.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and internal stakeholders.
