Under the direction of the CEO, the QI Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the quality improvement, compliance, and data-driven decision-making efforts across the agency.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Oversee the agency’s QI efforts, including managing complaints, grievances, corrective action plans, high-risk notifications, and other compliance-related tasks.
- Lead efforts to incorporate population health data into the agency’s QI process, analyzing data trends to make quality and compliance improvements.
- Aggregate and analyze outcome data to uncover underlying issues, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and guide the corrective action plan process.
- Provide leadership and supervision to a team responsible for day-to-day tasks related to data collection, compliance reporting, and monitoring for service-driven programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required (Master's preferred).
- 3 years of professional experience managing or coordinating quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of QI processes, strategic planning and health services research, design and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, electronic health record system; DocuSign; Survey Monkey, and other software applications and mobile applications.
- Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
- Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use challenges to inspire and support others.
