Collaborative Support Programs is seeking a motivated Housing Specialist to join our team in the southern region. As a key member of our staff, you will coordinate information and referrals for housing placements in assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, landlords, linkage agencies, referral sources, and government housing agencies.
- Provide technical assistance to support services teams regarding affordable housing opportunities.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure seamless service delivery.
In this role, you will work closely with residents, utilizing excellent communication skills, particularly listening, mediation, and writing abilities. You will also collaborate with individuals living with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related discipline.
- Experience with real estate and knowledge of State and local housing regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (C.P.R.P.) certification is an asset.
