What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trader/Para-Planner/Portfolio Analyst/Client Service Associate position at CollaborativeWEALTH?
This will be a multi-functional role that includes Trader, Para-Planner, Portfolio Analyst and Client Service support.
As a trader you will be responsible for implementing buying and selling actions on our in-house investment models, systematic re-balancing of existing accounts and freeing up liquidity for distribution. Trading may also reflect activity within individual brokerage accounts and/or sub-accounts within annuities. As a para-planner you will be responsible for gathering financial planning data from clients, fact finding, scanning of pertinent documents and input of data into our financial planning software. The portfolio analyst role will include the preparation of investment proposal reports for other advisors as well as preparing research for the investment committee meetings. And for the Client Service Associate support role you may be called upon to assist other advisors in preparing for client meetings as well as consist of paperwork and administrative duties.

Trader/Research Analyst
- Responsible for implementing buying and selling actions
- Systematic re-balancing
- Freeing up liquidity for distribution
- Analyze past results and perform variance analysis
- Maintain and monitor program plans, sleeves and models
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
- Identify and drive process improvements

Para-Planner
- Researching and gathering client specification information
- Entering client data into financial planning software programs and spreadsheets
- Managing client information to ensure that electronic and paper files are complete, organized and secure
- Documenting progress and completed tasks in our Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce CRM) with detail and status
- Aiding in review of financial strategies designed to help clients pursue their long-term goals
- Prepare memorandum for post meeting delivery
Client Service Support
- Prepare meeting agenda and prep reports for client meetings
- Client Service engagement
- Prepare and execute client paperwork after client meeting
- Follow up to ensure paperwork is processed with appropriate carrier
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years professional or relevant internship experience
- Ability to assist advisor in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting research and completing trades
- Knowledge of investment and financial products, policies and procedures
- Strong client service and technical skills (MS Word & Excel)
- Use of Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM)
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
- Proactively leverage tools and resources for problem solving
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
- Effectively communicate with internal and external clients via phone, fax, mail and/or email
