Aspire Accounting is looking for an experienced Tax Consultant to join our amazing new team! The Tax consultant will play a crucial role in providing expertise to clients of the tax services department, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and developing strategic tax planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax-free strategies, particularly in the context of investments and entrepreneurial ventures, and will be adept at navigating the complexities of self-directed IRAs and ROBS structures. The position requires excellent analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proactive approach to managing tax-related matters to support the financial goals of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Research and analyze complex tax issues, and provide clear and concise written and verbal advice to clients
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits for clients
- Stay current with tax law changes and communicate their impact to clients
- Assist with tax audits and provide support during regulatory examinations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients
- Train and mentor junior staff members on tax-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Law Degree, required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tax consulting or public accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with tax software and Google Suite
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
Compensation:
- Salary: $125,000 - $175,000
