Position : Assistant Lecturer or Assistant Instructor in Broadcast and Multi-Media Journalism

This is a term non-tenure track appointment that may be renewable.
Qualifications :
- For the rank of Assistant Instructor : Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or a related field.
- For the rank of Assistant Lecturer : Master’s Degree in Journalism, Radio-Television or a related field.
This position is for a seasoned broadcast industry professional. The successful candidate will teach seated and online courses in the areas of broadcast and multi-media production including :
They will be assigned to work with student-produced news entities including The Daily Egyptian, River Region Evening Edition, and Saluki Sports View. They will collaborate with the staff of WSIU Public Broadcasting Service and are expected to become an active member of the department.
