President & CEO
College Foundation, Inc. (CFI) is searching for an experienced President. As the senior leader at CFI, the President will provide strong leadership by working with the Board of Trustees and the senior leadership team to establish short and long-term goals, plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a participative management style and possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Foundation employees at all levels, board members, outside consultants, agencies, and other collaborative partners.
Responsibilities
· Serve as primary liaison with the Board of Trustees
· Oversee interpretation and implementation of policies necessary to fulfill all legal requirements by charter, bylaws, IRS classifications and applicable federal and state laws
· Oversee the administration of the student financial assistance programs for which the Foundation serves as administrative agent on behalf of the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority
· Assure the Foundation fulfills its mission as stated in its charter
· Provide leadership for the management team and staff, approximately 140 FTEs
· Facilitate an effective and productive relationship with the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority,
· Serve as the primary liaison with the higher education sectors in North Carolina and other state and federal agencies
· Look for strategic alliances and investigate new service opportunities for the Foundation
Required skills and qualifications
· Minimum BS/BA degree
· 7 years of financial and operations management experience
· Experience with and knowledge of student financial aid programs
· Strong leadership skills
· Demonstrated program development and implementation experience
· Experience envisioning, developing and implementing a strategic plan
· Proven experience managing a $25MM budget
· Experience and education that have led to excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred skills and qualifications
· Nonprofit leadership experience
Salary Range:
The current midpoint of the salary range is $255,000.

Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
