Job Summary
This position performs accounting duties in support of a variety of department functions.
Responsibilities
1 -
Reviews travel authorizations and ensures the availability of budget funds.
2 -
Approves entries for employee reimbursements and travel expense documents as the AP Auditor, and serves as the Workflow and Expense Administrator for travel and expense transactions.
3 -
Perform asset management processes in PeopleSoft for depreciation calculation, asset additions, deletions and period depreciation closing, and completes physical inventories annually.

Maintain and run plant allocations monthly.
5 -
Assist with vendor maintenance in the PeopleSoft financial system, updates vendor files and enters new vendor information
6 -
Balances general ledger accounts and encumbrances: prepare journal entries; maintains financial data in accounting software; assists with monthly and annual review, balancing, and reporting.

Manages college surplus properly
8 -
Provides information to employees and vendors regarding department policies and procedures.
9 -
Performs related work as required.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
Other Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a credit check
Required Experience
- More than three year of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using PeopleSoft Financials.
- Work experience in higher education administration.

- Ability to maintain and create reports regarding complex administrative and fiscal records.
