Administrative Assistant I - CSN Call Center
Job Description

Under direct supervision, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform clerical duties

Data entry

spreadsheet and reporting

Answer multi-line telephone

Greet office callers and visitors and provide basic information regarding the CSN Call Center's activities.

Gather information to assist in preparing and processing documents related to payroll, personnel, budget and other information related to the CSN Call Center.

Resolve matters within the parameters established by the Call Center Director.

Act as a liaison, within established parameters, regarding agency activities, operations and programs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Perform a variety of assignments as directed by the CSN Call Center Director.
- Discuss escalated caller issues and get the issue resolved by working with key contacts in other departments within the organization.
- Maintain knowledge of the Call Center office functions and operations, College/Division mission, functions, programs, activities and operating policies, procedures, and regulations needed to perform the job.
- Maintain databases and spreadsheets for reports related to the CSN Call Center.

Summarize data as required for semester-to-semester reports.

Perform quality assurance functions to maintain a high level of customer service provided from Call Center staff.

Consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and service in all interactions.
- Consistently promote a positive view of the departments, division and institution by maintaining a positive attitude at all times.

Support all CSN departments by assisting CSN Call Center staff and helping them with systems problems and ensuring they are following department policies and procedures.

Provide correct information, provide a positive customer service experience that exceeds one's expectations.
- Attend customer service trainings.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of clerical experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records, answering telephones, and reviewing forms, documents and other written materials; OR six months of experience as an Administrative Aid in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
- Knowledge of standard office procedures, practices and methods; word processing software; data entry techniques; recordkeeping techniques; telephone etiquette.
Salary Range:
Grade 23, Step 1 - $31,716.72
Per Nevada Administrative Code (NAC 284.170), salaries for initial appointments for classified positions typically begin at Step 1.
