Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and oversight of construction and maintenance projects.
- Ensuring compliance with public works regulations and industry standards.
- Managing project documentation and coordinating work orders.
- Supporting contract administration and procurement processes.
- Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in construction, building maintenance, or public works.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project coordination and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Abilities
Requires the ability to keep basic records. Requires sensitivity to the needs and behavior of students with various ethnic and cultural backgrounds and disabilities.
Physical Abilities
Requires ambulatory skills to retrieve work materials and files; to stand or sit at a counter for extended periods of time. Requires sufficient arm, hand, finger dexterity in order to operate keyboard, typewriter and other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers. Requires auditory ability to carry on conversations with individuals and small groups in person and over the phone.
Education and Experience
- Experience in construction, building maintenance, or public works.
