Ensure efficient operation of high school administrative office and provide clerical services for school’s administrative staff.

Two years of secretarial experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain effective communication with administration/staff/parents
- Enter and approve absences through AESOP
- Complete ADR (Absence from Duty/Substitute/ forms) and enter into finance Plus
- Compile and keep accurate folders for substitutes/proper filing
- Maintain a calendar of absences and keep track of all staff personal days used
- Submit hourly payroll for D-Hall and parking lot security to central office
- Enter discipline referral information into our data system, mail a copy of this referral home
- Send letters home on those students that are creating a truancy problem
- Daily list of teacher absentees provided for the principal
- Return mail for incorrect addresses
- Provide code of conduct sheets at the beginning of the year for students and parents
- Provide administration with exemption spreadsheet at the end of each semester
- Type master schedule and department schedules
- Revise and type the student and faculty handbook
- Provide master schedule list for each department
- Provide lunch schedule for staff/students
- Update faculty boxes
- Provide updated room use list
- Provide spreadsheet of professional staff
- Contact fire department and alarm company on drill days, set alarm, reset alarm after the fire drill
- Provide list of Venture and Expulsion students to Dean of Students Secretary/At Risk list support
- Receive work orders and file as completed/outstanding
- Teacher letter with schedule before school starts
- Provide parents with expulsion letters
- Provide faculty check-off list at the end of each semester
