Bilingual Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to be a top-notch communicator, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and documenting information accurately.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians.
• Perform basic coding for patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Translate for physician when required

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish is essential.
• Strong skills in patient care, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients.
