Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing excellent guest services. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Provide immediate assistance in emergencies, including performing CPR and first aid as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment for cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
- Engage with guests to provide information about pool facilities and services.
- Report any incidents or concerns to management promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions to maintain certifications and improve skills.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification is required.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Experience in guest services is preferred.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
