Job Summary :
The Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for monitoring all Inventory and making the appropriate recommendations and / or changes related to all products. The Specialist works within the Inventory division of the Revenue Management and Pricing team and is a liaison with product, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure tour inventory is being adjusted based on current bookings and that tour departures operate profitably.
Primary Functions :
- Monitor Inventory by reviewing various reports from the reservation system and other programs
- Monitor waitlisted components and work with other teams to confirm them
- Review and request added departures
- Adjust availability of product to meet the needs of group and retail clients
- Use data analysis to adjust inventory levels to maximize load factors and profitability
- Review and process group orders from the outside sales team using data and analysis
- Monitor and maintain weekly inventory reports and ensure accuracy of reports within the system
- Train new employees within the department and educate new employees on operations within the team
- Monitor the materialization of group space to ensure availability for retail
- Answer all phone calls related to Inventory questions from the inside and outside sales team or other teams within the company
- Assist the Group Reservations Coordinators with creation of bookings and applying of deposits
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills :
Pay range starting at $20.00 / hr
