The Colleyville Chamber of Commerce is a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering economic growth and building strong community connections. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development and Marketing Manager or Director (depending on experience) to lead efforts in driving growth, engagement, and revenue for our Chamber.
Position Summary:
The Business Development and Marketing role will serve as a strategic leader and relationship builder, focused on member engagement, revenue growth, and community impact. This role will require a team-oriented, innovative individual with a passion for connecting people, growing sponsorships, and enhancing the Chamber’s visibility through comprehensive marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current members, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is valuable. Actively engage with the local business community to recruit new members and strengthen the Chamber’s network. Be a visible presence at Chamber events and in the community, fostering trust and connections.
Sponsorship and Membership Growth: Drive growth in organization-wide and event-specific sponsorships, securing partners to support Chamber initiatives. Develop and execute strategies to increase membership, leveraging innovative approaches to attract and retain members. Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through creative partnership development.
Strategic Leadership and Collaboration: Serve as a contributor in organizational planning and decision-making to drive overall growth and success. Collaborate with staff and volunteer groups to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.
Marketing and Campaign Development: Create and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, event promotion collateral, slide decks, and other materials as needed. Develop strategies to enhance the Chamber’s visibility and branding in the community. Ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms to communicate the Chamber’s value proposition effectively.
Event Growth and Networking Facilitation: Collaborate on event revenue strategy, identifying opportunities for sponsorships, ticket sales, and member engagement. Facilitate networking groups, creating opportunities for members to connect and grow their businesses. Support event planning and execution, ensuring all marketing and sponsorship deliverables are met.
Volunteer Engagement and Expectation Management: Build strong relationships with volunteer groups, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. Manage expectations and navigate difficult personalities with professionalism and tact. Foster a collaborative, positive environment for all stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities: Represent the Chamber in the community, embodying its mission and values. Provide regular reporting on key metrics, goals, and initiatives to the President and CEO. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the Chamber. And any other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related field, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with diverse personalities and manage expectations effectively.
- Strong marketing skills, including campaign creation, social media management, and event promotion.
- Strategic thinker who is highly collaborative and willing to contribute to organizational growth at all levels.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental Pay:
