What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Supervisor - Inmate Systems position at Collier County Sheriff's Office?
The Collier County Sheriff's Office is looking for positive, proactive, energetic, enthusiastic individuals that support our core principle of community, safety, service to fill the position of Clerical Supervisor - Inmate Systems. Starting salary $32.67 per hour.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associates Degree.
- Type 30 correct wpm.
- Minimum Wonderlic score of 22
- Minimum OPAC scores of 80%.
- Must be available for shiftwork, including nights, evenings & weekends.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of organization, procedures, and operating details of Corrections/Inmate Services.
- Knowledge of principles of supervision, training and performance evaluations.
- Ability to compose general correspondence and letters.
- Ability to interpret and apply administrative and departmental policies, laws & rules.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Examples of Duties:
- Supervise and participate in a wide variety of complex, responsible, and confidential administrative support and clerical activities.
- Participate in the selection of clerical staff; provide or coordinate staff training; work with members to correct deficiencies ; implement discipline procedures.
- Coordinate overall office support functions and activities of the Bureau.
- Supervise, train and evaluate assigned clerical staff.
- Assist Bureau Supervisor as needed
