Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for individuals with 0-5 years of experience who desire to perform wetland delineation, protected species habitat characterization, land mapping, GPS data collection, GIS application, and prepare permits and reports in support of US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and state and local permits.

Responsibilities
- Conducting field surveys and collecting data for various resources.
- Performing wetlands/waters of the US delineations.
- Preparing reports for projects that have been evaluated in the field or descriptions based on available maps and aerial photographs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Botany, Biology, Zoology, Natural Resource Management, or similar.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to work within a team or independently.
- Good technical writing skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel and be out in the field approximately 75% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Travel is generally within Texas, but also New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana and may extend beyond this range. Overnight travel on short notice is possible.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
- Experience with wildlife or aquatic studies and surveys.
- Plant identification skills a plus.
- Wetland delineation skill a plus.
- ESRI GIS application skill a plus.
