Job Summary: The Testing Center Administrator is responsible for ensuring the secure operation of the testing center while maintaining the privacy of sensitive data. This involves managing daily operations, proctoring exams, and ensuring compliance with college and agency testing policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer a variety of testing activities: certification/licensure, correspondence, CLEP, TSIA, assessment, instructional, and other tests.
  • Operate and troubleshoot testing software systems to ensure a seamless testing experience.
  • Interpret TSIA test scores, course placement, and possible retest options for credit students.
  • Provide excellent customer service to testers, conducting all test-taking activities in a nondiscriminatory manner.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the testing center by following protocols to create a secure atmosphere that minimizes distractions.
  • Accurately input exam results and other related data into the appropriate reporting system.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution required.
  • One (1) year of related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with FERPA and TSIA/testing rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Licenses and Certifications:This position must obtain Accuplacer, CLEP, Meazure Learning, Pearson VUE, and other proctor certifications within 90 days of employment.
