What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Administrator of IDD Supported Employment position at Collin County Mental Health Retardation Center?
- Bachelors degree in Rehabilitation Studies, Business, Marketing, or other human service-related field AND completion of an approved Director Course (within 7 days of hire) and Supported Employment training (within the first 6 months of employment).
- Masters degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Supported employment knowledge and experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience in the human services field required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to successfully operate an Electronic Health Record.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional and clinical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to complex inquires or complaints from individuals receiving services and their legally authorized representatives, regulatory agencies, and the community.
- Ability to present verbal and written information effectively to all levels of agency staff, individuals receiving services, regulatory agencies, and the community.
- Ability to perform moderately complex financial computations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Ability to manage relationships effectively, provide effective staff training and performance coaching.
