Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, blueprint reading, and contract administration. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate subcontractor teams, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to develop accurate construction estimates and schedules.
• Utilize construction management software to track project progress and manage resources efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure all work is completed according to design specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including contract negotiation and administration.
• Proficiency in construction estimating, project scheduling, and use of Primavera software is preferred.
• Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety on the job site.
