Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable position is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable to include processing and reconciling a variety of transactions. This is a full time, temporary position to last between three to six months. This position is required to be in office Monday through Friday.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Code, enter, and audit accounts payable invoices for corporate as well as multiple division locations.
- Use purchase order software system to ensure invoices and receiving documents agree. Upload into accounting system.
- Process payments in accordance with payment schedules.
- Communicate with vendors and divisions regarding issues.
- Perform monthly review of vendor statements.
- Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
- On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- General understanding of accounts payable and payment processing preferred.
- Ability to communicate with vendors, managers, divisional accounting staff, and employees.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to perform in a digitized, paperless environment.
- Ability to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level of personal integrity and ethical and professional standards.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Prior multi-state, multi-company accounts payable experience preferred.
- Prior work experience in a high volume/fast paced environment with deadline requirements preferred.
$20-$27 per hour, DOE
