Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Log Handling Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling and transportation of logs throughout our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Operate track shovels and wheeled loaders to feed the sawmill, build and break down log decks, unload log trucks, and organize logs.
- Perform startup and shutdown equipment inspections, as well as perform additional duties as required by the supervisor.
