About Us: Oglebay Village is a 91-unit HUD/Rural Development property in Wheeling, WV, dedicated to providing quality, low income housing in a supportive community environment. We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Property Manager to join our team.
Position: Property Manager
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring compliance with HUD and Rural Development regulations.
- Manage tenant relations, including addressing concerns, processing applications, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Simply Computer/FHA property management software (experience with this software is a plus).
- Prepare and manage budgets, including rent collections and expense tracking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Section 8 or Rural Development property management is required.
- Familiarity with Simply Computer/FHA property management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High level of professionalism and dependability.
