Part-time Front-Desk Receptionist

Compensation: $16 PER HOUR

Reports to: Lead Receptionist

We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at an upscale private country club. As the first point of contact for members and guests, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Greet members and guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
  • Provide schedules and other club information to members and guests
  • Maintains supply of club information for members
  • Performs general office work such as word processing, filing and operating copy and fax machines
  • Accept restaurant and event reservations
  • Maintain correct balances in petty cash and operating funds
  • Reports unauthorized people in Club facility or around facility
  • Performs other duties required by the Assistant General Manager
  • Provide information about club amenities, services, and upcoming events
  • Address member concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with other club staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable member experience

Qualifications:

· Previous experience hospitality, hotel or private club experience preferred

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Professional appearance and demeanor

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems

· Knowledge of club operations and amenities is a plus

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs,

· balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or sit up to16 hours per day.

· Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and/or controls.

· Reach with hands and arms.

· Hearing and talking sufficient enough to communicate with members, guests, and co-workers.

· Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision, color vision,

· peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

· Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs.

· Independent mobility throughout the Clubhouse and surrounding areas.

Schedule:

Shift schedule-

Tuesday thru Thursday- 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Friday-8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Sunday- 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Schedule may vary in accordance with operational needs to include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Colonial Country Club hosts various events and tournaments throughout the year, flexibility is required.

Background check and drug screen required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.05 per hour

Expected hours: 29 per week
