Job Summary
The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for the successful operation of restaurants and bar outlets. Accountable for directing the work of the restaurant and beverage staff, ensuring that guests have a favorable experience when visiting our outlets or on the casino floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the Food & Beverage Team Members, delegating duties and assigning responsibilities as needed.
- Uphold the company's service standards, while ensuring coaching/accountability measures are enforced, focusing on training and development.
- Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers, supervising programs and processes to reduce and control loss-time injuries.
- Oversee the quality of food and beverages being served, being observant to any variances and taking corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Assist in recruitment processes, including job posting and recruiting metrics.
- Complete and process performance reviews, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
- Assist in the development of Team Members, conduct interviews, and participate in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention, and termination process.
- Review marketing/promotions and F&B activities with Team Members, communicate effectively.
- Supervise cleaning and side-work standards as required, ensuring equipment is properly operating and advising Food & Beverage Managers about service-related repairs.
- Monitor staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels, delegate authority and assign responsibilities based on business needs.
- Identify and define business needs to implement solutions resulting in beneficial changes to the department.
- Resolve customer complaints/issues expeditiously, building strong guest relationships.
- Assist in the development and management of the Food & Beverage department's budget, upholding operating margins as directed.
- Work closely with Food & Beverage Leadership to develop and implement operating standards when necessary.
- Ensure consistent and convincing service according to company standards.
- Provide leadership and project management as assigned.
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Provide next-level guest service to internal and external guests, demonstrating #AddLife culture in all interactions.
