The Regional Driver Training Manager (RDTM) will coach and mentor all Colonial Transportation Solutions, Inc. drivers by conducting all training operations following Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. The RDTM will identify and communicate clear expectations for drivers and the organization's success, help remove obstacles in achieving results, and establish a sense of urgency for all drivers to act decisively and solve problems.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the Transport Operations, which include company-owned assets and owner-operators.
- General Profit and Loss responsibility.
- Oversee Driver Supervisors to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and dependability.
- Assess the current transport fleet and model to determine a ‘moving forward’ strategy to mature current assets into a true transport division.
- Thoroughly investigate all vehicular accidents/incidents to determine the cause and means of preventing similar occurrences in the future.
- Effectively interact with our customers to provide the best possible level of service.
- Oversee dispatching of routes to accomplish the most efficient routing of products and utilization of equipment while meeting customers' expectations.
- Utilize TMT to manage all transport assets to maintain high compliance accountability.
- Supervise the maintenance of vehicles, ensuring maximum utilization, maximum life expectancy, and safe operation.
- Schedule equipment preventative and routine maintenance.
- Purchase all parts, materials, fuel, and supplies necessary for the operations to function.
- Responsible for the recruiting, hiring, disciplining, and training all drivers and transport personnel.
- Evaluate individual performance and ensure proper training of employees as required in all functional areas by establishing training goals and routinely reviewing everyone’s progress.
- Participate in budget preparation and be responsible for meeting terminal goals.
- Prepares all reports and communications as required in a timely and accurate manner.
- Responsible for ensuring the proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipment.
- Establish work rules and standard operating procedures for all Transport Operations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation.
- Oversee all DOT compliance and E logs systems.
- Fully understand and utilize our Telepoint dispatch system to the full extent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum, terminal dispatch, logistics, and/or trucking roles.
- Training background in the trucking industry is highly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures are necessary.
- Class A or B CDL is desired.
