What are Colonial's Pay in Lieu (PIL) options?
$20.00 base rate
$2.20/hr pay in lieu of health, dental and vision coverages - starts when benefit-eligible*
$1.82/hr pay in lieu of certain paid time off - starts when benefit-eligible**
$24.02/hr full PIL rate instead of benefits.
* Health insurance is offered starting the first of the month following 30 days of employment. When elected, the $2.20/hr pay in lieu of health benefit option starts with the first pay date of that same month.
** Paid personal days, vacation days and an extra day's holiday pay on 10 named holidays are offered after employees complete their probationary period (standard 90 days). Employees working for staffing agencies do not receive these benefits and tend to prefer a higher rate of pay when working.

· By adding a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) on top of your medical health coverage ($1,615 for employee only coverage and $3,230 for employee plus any dependent coverage), Colonial's medical and prescription drug plan feels and acts quite generously:
· For employee only coverage in the CIGNA network, the practical deductible is $900. After this deductible, there are copays/coinsurance of about 15% until a $5,785 maximum out of pocket is met, which is when all in-network expenses under the plan are fully picked up by the plan.
· For employee plus any dependent(s) coverage in the CIGNA network, the practical deductible is $1,800. After this deductible, there are copays/coinsurance of about 15% until an $11,570 maximum out of pocket is met, which is when all in-network expenses under the plan are fully picked up by the plan.

After your deductible is met, simply use the HRA debit card to pay for health expenses just like you would any other purchase, OR, if you happen to pay with another way, request reimbursement to your bank account quickly and easily online or thru an app.

Colonial contributes a Safe Harbor match. Employees that elect to and contribute up to 5% of gross earning will receive an employer match of 4%. Additionally, Colonial offers a discretionary benefit in December for all eligible employees. Last year the facility contributed 9.5% of each employee’s gross earnings to a 401K benefit plan.t. The defined benefit pension tends to approximate the social security earnings at full retirement age. Vesting schedules do apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Therapeutic Recreation Director
A Qualified TRD is needed for a 90 bed skilled nursing facility. Experience Preferred. This position reports to the Recreation Director. TRD assists and leads group activities, and one-to-one. Follows residents care plans, and provides daily activities, observes and documents on residents Mood, behavior, involvement, and responses to activity. Reliable transportation, and dependable. TRD qualification required.
1. Plans, implements, and supports the Activities Department and its programs designed to encourage and stimulate the well-being of the residents.
2. Leads and directs subordinate employees in their work. Develop work/activity schedule, assigns work tasks, monitors and assesses employees conducting activities programs, and orients and trains personnel regarding the purpose and function of activities.
3. Develops a broad monthly activity calendar and post changes to the calendar as needed in accordance with state and federal regulations. Ensures calendars are distributed by the 1st of the month.
4. Conducts and participates in routine resident group and 1:1 activities per calendar year.
5. Completes a comprehensive assessment of the activity needs of each resident including background, interests, abilities, physical, mental limitations, and strengths.
6. Performs documentation duties as required and in accordance with facility charting and documentation policies and procedures and government regulations. Ensures documentation is accurate, informative and descriptive of the resident’s condition, nursing care provided and resident’s response to care.
7. Completes assigned section of MDS, Triggers and CAA's.
8. Develops and maintains plan of care in conjunction with facility interdisciplinary team members and ensures activity/recreation personnel are aware of the care plan so that they can provide daily activities for the resident.
9. Participates in assigned interdisciplinary team meetings and resident/group council meetings, providing support to the council as needed.
10. Makes daily rounds to assure that the activity/recreation personnel are performing required duties, and to assure that appropriate activity/recreation programs are being provided to meet the resident’s needs.
11. Maintains an active volunteer program that includes the screening, training and supervision of volunteers as appropriate.
12. Participates in community planning related to the interests of the facility and services and needs of the residents and family.
