Job Type: PART TIME/WEEKEND
Reports to: Business Office Manager
Full Wage Range: $16.28-$21.00
Provides clerical support, ensuring the smooth operation of the Community. This role involves greeting and welcoming residents, families and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor, as well as handling various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome Families, Clients, Visitors, tours and all others
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, or forward calls.
- Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Inform employees of visitors’ arrivals and cancellations.
- Maintain the visitor sign-in log.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.
- Maintain and tidy the reception area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information, including protected health information.
Supervisory Requirements:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, clerical functions, and multiline phone systems required.
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear.
- Frequent use of office-related equipment, including copier/scanner/fax, telephone, and calculator.
- No travel required.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
