Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Journeyman to join our team. The HVAC Journeyman will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings.
Qualifications :
Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training
Current State of Iowa HVAC Journeyperson license
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
Responsibilities :
Install, repair and maintain HVAC systems and components
Perform regular maintenance on existing HVAC systems
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
Test HVAC systems for proper functioning
Comply with all safety regulations and building codes
Inspect HVAC systems for compliance with local and national regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout projects
Install and repair duct work, new furnace, and air conditioning systems along with related appliances and fixtures.
