Summary
As a Plumbing Technician at Colony Heating and Air Conditioning, you will be an essential part of our dedicated team, providing top-notch plumbing services to our residential and commercial clients. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence. A Plumbing Service Technician works with all aspects of plumbing system repairs and maintenance. Must have at least 2 years of Plumbing experience. This is required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
The duties / responsibilities below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by a person in this position. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all duties that may be performed in such a position.
- Install, test, repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations.
- Install and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures.
- Install and repair valves, pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage systems.
- Perform maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electric as well as gas water heaters (power vent and natural gas).
- Experience with using manometers.
- Experience and understanding of voltmeter (volts / ohms).
- Ability to identify customer needs and clearly articulate proper services and offerings.
- Boiler experience is preferred.
- Tankless water heater experience is preferred.
- Able to run a plumbing service truck on your own.
- Keep work site, truck, and tools cleaned up daily.
- Use specialized tools and equipment.
- Work rotating on call schedule.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
