This is a seasonal position from approximately May 31, 2024 to July 26, 2024. The position is a
non-exempt position as defined by the Department of Labor.

- We create a climate of learning and fun to further the development of each camper
socially, physically and creatively.
- We help each child adjust easily to their group and strengthen values of teamwork,
cooperation and sportsmanship.
- We encourage a positive self-image for each child while teaching skills in a variety of
physical and creative activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible or the well-being of campers.
- Assist in the supervision of campers within activities and throughout the daily camp
routine.
- Assure campers are properly supervised at all times.
- Be aware of and implement safety guidelines.
- Participate and be an active part of all camper activities.
- Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude, behavior and good sportsmanship.
- Maintain a good working relationship with other counselors, the director and assistant
director.
- Communicate effectively and work together in a team environment with staff
- Desire and enthusiasm to work with children
- Ability to accept supervision and guidance
- Good character, integrity and adaptability
- Ability to work together with a team of one’s peers

Requirements
Camp Employees must:
- Be Responsible for the well-being of campers.

- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Be available to work for at least 7 weeks
- Must attend a mandatory orientation program

Job Type: Full-time
Typical Schedule: 8:15 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
