Position Overview
This is a DOT-related position and will be subject to the FMCSA regulations. The primary duty of the Driver is to drive / transport equipment to customer locations. Loading and unloading of work zone equipment from company trucks, obtaining signatures once deliveries are made, perform installation and service work as required. Complete all required internal paperwork.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and regulations of the Company and particularly the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Make deliveries, pick-ups and job checks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely Pre-Trip and Post Trip Inspection Paperwork
- Efficiently communicate with all levels of people - employees, customers, accident information, maintenance service schedules, etc.
- Conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a professional and respectful atmosphere and ensure that the service encounter with the customer is an exceptional experience.
- Perform a needs assessment when speaking with customers to translate their requests into our related products.
- Maintain delivery / pickup tickets.
- Learn / Responsible for safe lifting, loading, and unloading of equipment to and from trucks.
- Keep company vehicles clean and orderly, informing management of any safety concerns or vehicle problems.
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late, when necessary, with little or no notice. Able to work mid and night shifts.
- Arrive to work site on time wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), e.g., hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, masks, and earplugs as required, and when applicable, a respirator.

- All other duties as assigned.
