What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Center Guest Development Coordinator position at Colorado Community Church?
The MLCC Life Development Coordinator is a part of the Renewal Ministries Department within the Community Involvement Zone at Colorado Community Church. This position primarily serves the congregation by providing leadership and support for the ministries of the More Life Community Center. This position reports to the Pastor of Renewal Ministries. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk), hourly (non-exempt), coordinator position with benefits.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
MLCC Guest Services Development
- Provide oversight, leadership and development of the following guest services:
- Life Champions and Life Plan services.
- Workforce Development (GED, ESL, Career Champions, post-secondary training opportunities, job placement assistance).
- Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic (JAMLAC) services.
- LifeByte computer repair drive and other LifeByte offerings.
- Medical clinic offerings (biometric screenings, other health fair offerings and potential ongoing health-related services at the MLCC.
MLCC - General Duties
- Collaboratively execute the vision and goals of the MLCC in assigned areas of responsibility while maintaining the culture of the MLCC based upon its founding convictions.
- Participate in the development of MLCC budget for assigned areas, financial tracking and reconciliation of expenditures.
- Training of volunteers in basic operations in assigned areas, systems support for volunteers.
- Coordinates volunteer recruitment and scheduling.
- Handles external communication to guests, internal volunteer communications on all assigned program happenings.
- Coordination of program supplies, equipment and other logistics as necessary for program areas.
- Works with CCC Database Coordinator to configure systems in the database to the needs of assigned MLCC programs.
Work Schedule, Meetings and Other Responsibilities
- Schedule: Exact schedule to be determined based on needs of MLCC, including some weekend hours.
- Office Hours: Establish and maintain regular office hours.
- Meetings: Attend all required staff meetings/retreats (Weekly “Devos & Prayer”, Monthly Staff Luncheons, Annual Staff Retreat, etc.).
