The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Director of Consortial Operations to join our Academic & Student Affairs division. We’re looking for someone with strong customer service skills who values clear and detailed communication with stakeholders and colleagues across all levels of an organization. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Making decisions regarding day-to-day operations including trouble-shooting problems, creating continuous improvement processes, and escalating decisions to the Vice Chancellor as appropriate. Partnering with Deans and Directors in Academic and Student Affairs and college partners to plan, implement, and evaluate business processes and operational procedures to help ensure successful resolution of student and faculty opportunities, challenges, or concerns.Collaborating, meeting, and gathering input from functional area and other constituency groups to draft and revise recommendations and proposals to ensure effective and efficient consortial operations.Facilitating strategic planning by leading collaborative sessions with consortium leadership, consortium members, and key constituency groups to gather input, align priorities, and co-create the strategic vision.Coordinating data collection each term for needs analysis and/or formative evaluation efforts (surveys, focus groups, and other evaluation metrics) then using the results to generate, update, or maintain a roadmap of organized, coherent business requirements for consortial staff to utilize.As a member of the Consortia Operations Leadership team, you will lead the administration of the consortial governance model and foster a collaborative consortial culture.

Attributes that will contribute to success in this position: Advanced skills in MS 365 Office, particularly Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with the ability to rapidly learn and use CCCS academic and student technology platforms to effectively support project work. Practiced in key project management techniques including resource and people management, tracking and measuring outcomes, data collection and analysis, and reporting to make and communicate data-informed decisions. Ability to synthesize and draw key insights from a high volume of information to make timely, informed decisions that consider the facts, goals, constraints, and risks; ability to use professional judgment in complex situations; effectively and appropriately deals with/adapts to change; demonstrates critical, creative, and reflective thinking. Utilizes excellent time management and problem-solving techniques with the ability to multi-task while providing timely responses to email, phone, and other communication requests in a fast-paced, high volume, virtual environment. Actively contribute to a work environment that embraces inclusiveness, diverse perspectives, ethical behavior, and constructive working relationships characterized by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect. Occasional travel within Colorado may be required to attend in-person meetings with key constituency groups at college campuses or other locations.Alternative work arrangements, including flexible schedules and hybrid-remote work, may be available.
