The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Director of Student Affairs. We’re looking for someone with a holistic view of Student Affairs who wants to lead improvements to students’ and staff’s experiences at our colleges and System Office. In this position you will collaborate with System Office staff across all divisions as well as staff at the 13 colleges within CCCS, including presidents, vice presidents, deans, and directors to implement strategic goals, system policies, and enrollment strategy related to student affairs, student success, equitable outcomes, and enrollment management. In addition, you will represent the Student Affairs-related functional groups (excluding Financial Aid) at the system level regarding the support and use of technologies, strategies, and procedures that support student success.

Some Examples Of This Position’s Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of system policy and strategy related to student affairs, student success, and enrollment management (with the exception of the Financial Aid functional area).
- Work collaboratively with the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (AVC), as well as college vice presidents of Student Affairs, in the implementation of system policy and strategy.
- Provide leadership and build strategy with the Deans Council in tandem with the Director of Academic Affairs, as well providing strategic oversight directly to the Student Affairs Deans Council.
- Develop and direct strategic initiatives to promote equity and inclusion among students, specifically related to student retention and student success.
- Co-chair, lead, and serve on various Student Affairs-related councils and committees.
- Provide system-level and college-level strategic leadership for the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of EAB Navigate (or other student success systems) and systemwide adoption.
- Serve as the student module functional owner for the systemwide student information system (Banner Student), degree audit system (Degree Works), and Admissions Application/CRM (Recruit) by facilitating requests to CCCS-IT related to ongoing maintenance and operations and maintains high-level security access.
- Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree.
- Three years of increasingly responsible leadership experience in at least two Student Affairs functional areas.
- Experience with an integrated student information system.
