What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing position at Colorado Doorways Inc?
Purchases material in a timely manner, making sure product is ordered correctly and pricing is accurate by verifying acknowledgments from manufacturers. Keeps track of material ordered for specific projects as well as material ordered for stock inventory. Accuracy and being detail-oriented are musts for this position. Must be able to communicate well with vendors as well as multiple in-house departments and work productively with a wide range of people in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Data entry/computer skills
- Communication with vendors and various company departments, including sales, accounting, customer service, and shipping/receiving
