Overview and Scope of Team and / or Tasks
The Scholarship Programs Coordinator is accountable for thedaily operations and coordination of all scholarship processes at CMU. Thisincludes managing institutional, donor, merit, and external scholarship fundsby administering applications, awarding scholarships, and monitoringeligibility and compliance. The role requires collaboration with stakeholderssuch as the CMU Foundation, Admissions, and academic departments to ensurescholarship processes align with institutional policies and federal financialaid regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Key tasks include :
- Managing and awarding scholarships using Banner, and Academic Works (Blackbaud).
- Preparing and marketing scholarship applications.
- Overseeing scholarship committees and reviewers.
- Monitoring compliance with scholarship eligibility criteria.
- Acting as the lead liaison between Financial Aid, Accounting, Admissions, and the Foundation.
- Supervising assigned student employees.
