Job Description
The La Villa Grande Care Center is seeking a highly skilled Staff Development Coordinator to join our team.
This role is responsible for planning and managing orientation and in-service education for employees in a senior living community. The coordinator will also oversee infection prevention efforts and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and compliance with facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual training plans
- Create specific teaching plans and programs to cover training needs for all roles
- Work with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care and adherence to facility policies
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required
