The Director of Operations is a critical member of the leadership team and responsible for the management of all internal functions and duties necessary to ensure efficient operation of the organization and its programs. This position oversees all accounting and resource management functions of the organization including human resources, general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and benefit administration, budgeting, forecasting, technology, and office management. The Director of Operations is also responsible for organizing, coordinating and maintaining organizational assets, policies and procedures, and ensures efficient and organized administration of all documents, licenses, finances, and other functions requisite to the operations of a nonprofit organization. This role influences strategy, policy, compliance, and more across all programs and departments.

Colorado Poverty Law Project (CPLP) is a Denver-based nonprofit with a mission to provide Colorado’s low-income population with access to justice. We specialize in matching our clients with volunteer lawyers in evictions, housing-related and other legal cases. CPLP helps educate lawyers, neighborhood groups, and support organizations on legal issues common to low-income Coloradans, and supports groups advocating for protections of at-risk Coloradans.
Position Summary

This is a hybrid position, with job functions performed partially at home and partially at CPLP’s facility in Denver, CO. CPLP is an equal opportunity employer. Salary will be commensurate with experience, within a range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, with competitive health, dental, and vision benefits.
