POSITION VISION:
A leadership role focused on managing all aspects of a 41,000 sq/ft indoor facility (The Eddy), ensuring it provides outstanding service, innovative programs, and a welcoming environment for CRYSC members and guests. The Eddy Facility Engagement & Operations Manager will enhance the facility’s offerings to align with CRYSC's mission and vision while elevating the facility to rival industry leaders in facility management, customer service, administration, financial management, and event operations. This role aims to create a safe and efficient space that meets the community's needs and performance objectives of the organization.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Job Title: Eddy Facility Operations Manager
- Direct Reports: Director of Club Facilities
Administration:
- Develop and enforce policies to comply with safety and workplace regulations and uphold the Club's reputation.
- Collaborate with Rapids Youth staff to manage programs and services, including rentals, training, camps, clinics, tournaments, and leagues.
- Oversee facility and membership software for scheduling, participant tracking, and program registration.
- Ensure accurate information on CRYSC web pages related to The Eddy and its programs.
- Stay updated on trends in sports facility technology and use.
- Act as the primary contact for customer service issues related to memberships and member experiences.
- Generate operational and financial reports as requested by club leadership.
Customer Service:
- Maintain and exemplify superior customer service in all interactions.
- Provide friendly, informative customer service for facility inquiries and ensure follow-up on concerns.
- Greet and assist all guests entering the facility.
- Respond to emails and voicemails within 24 hours.
Financials:
- Maintain detailed financial records and process payments for facility programs and services.
- Support the director of club facilities in managing budgets and financial reporting to leadership.
- Provide staff hours reports and execute monthly payroll for facility staff.
- Track performance metrics like rental revenue, league registration numbers, and renter retention.
- Drive new revenue streams through creative programming and initiatives.
Operations:
- Serve as the primary contact during facility operating hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Market The Eddy’s programs to increase usage during off-peak times.
- Create and execute unique programs and partnerships to drive membership and revenue growth.
- Work with the Dir. of Club Facilities to implement partnership assets such as field signs.
- Manage retail business operations of CRYSC equipment and apparel within the facility.
- Schedule regular cleaning and waste disposal to maintain a safe environment that meets health and legal standards.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and resupply of equipment; maintain logs and train staff on equipment use.
- Coordinate recycling programs and maintain relationships with external vendors for services like security and HVAC.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage part-time staff to ensure high performance.
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide ongoing training.
- Develop staff skills in leadership, teamwork, and customer service.
Culture/Leadership:
- Foster positive internal and external working relationships.
- Conduct daily operations while keeping CRYSC's core values in mind.
- Lead by example with a high level of work ethic and dedication.

- Financially Stable: Constantly looking for new ways to increase revenue and/or cut costs for the club through The Eddy.
JOB TYPE & COMPENSATION:
- Base Salary: $55,000 per year
- Additional Bonus Compensation: Based on achieving or exceeding revenue goals
- Overtime: The position is exempt from overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Employment is on an “at-will” basis for no definite period. Regardless of the date or method of payment of wages or salary, either the Club or you may terminate it at any time with or without cause.
