Nature of Work:
This position is responsible for providing video analysis and related action plans for the Rapids 2 staff, team and individual players.
Examples of work performed:
- Assist in analyzing matches and training to criteria agreed upon by the Rapids Technical staff and producing the desired footage and statistics.
- Assist in filming and analyzing match footage to provide meaningful intelligence for coaches in a timely manner.
- Assist in creating specific video and data reports for high potential players and assist in creating player development plans for players.
- Produce and/or attend meetings, conferences and other associated events as directed by Rapids Technical Director.
- Assist in managing, maintaining and ensuring the safe utilization of all analysis equipment.
- Assist in creating digital library of sessions.
- Assist coaching staff with other tasks as necessary
- Travel as required
- Assist Technical Director with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Required
- Knowledge, education and experience in the use of performance analysis in improving team performance
- Demonstrated experience with technology and digital media
- Preferred
- Demonstrated experience with video editing software is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with match analysis software such as Sportscode, Wyscout, Metrica, Prozone, Instat, etc is preferred
- Previous experience as a coach or analysts in soccer is preferred.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Demonstrated high level of organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of player development in the sport of soccer and ability to understand intricacies of Colorado Rapids player development model.
- Ability to create spreadsheets and routine business correspondence using Word and Excel software.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
Compensation
- Base hourly range $18.81 per hour
