Job Summary:
The Theater Attendant is to provide prompt and courteous service to guests in the Blue Water Cinema. The Theater Attendant shall assist patrons at entertainment events by performing duties, such as collecting admission tickets and passes from patrons, assisting in finding seats, searching for lost articles, and locating such facilities as rest rooms and telephones. The Theatre Attendant will also be cross-trained in the duties of the Arcade.
Duties & Functions:
· Must keep respective work area clean and stocked of required items and inform management of any needs including, but not limited to, supplies or equipment.
· The attendant is to maintain close attention to starting and ending times for the movies and ensure an individual is monitoring the attendance of cinemas to eliminate noncustomers entering cinemas.
· Must position themselves appropriately to allow good visibility to the customer and for easiest access for the customers to give them their ticket.
· Assist in opening/closing doors for patrons carrying items or those with special needs.
· Will monitor available seats to customers, particularly in busy showings.
· As movies end, they must greet customers with friendly comments, prop open the doors, and be ready to enter the cinemas and complete all necessary cleaning quickly and efficiently for the next movie showings.
· Proper disposal of trash into the outside receptacles will be accomplished timely and without obstruction to customers, to avoid overflowing. This duty must be done either prior to or shortly after cinemas commencing of showing to perform the function of ticket taker for the other cinemas.
· This can also be accomplished with coordination with the concession personnel and/or management.
· The theater attendant must be able to work behind the counter, assisting cashier in providing product for customers.
· Must attend regular staff meeting and/or training programs as required.
· Have some knowledge on how to play the games in the arcade in order to instruct the guests.
· Maintain the ticket pay out counter for ticket redemption.
· Record and report inventory level and needs to supervisor.
· Maintain daily and general maintenance of all arcade games.
· Courteously responds to customer's inquiries and comments, both in person and by telephone.
· Daily completion of all restocking and clean up duties as instructed: cleaning restrooms, outside premises, vacuuming etc.
· Make change for customers.
· Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Cinema Manger or designee to
· fulfill the Department's needs, objectives and/or goals.
· Follow established Tribal policies and those outlined in the Colorado River Indian Tribes Employee Handbook.

Required Skills and Abilities:
· Must have basic knowledge of arcade games as well as basic knowledge of customer's service principles.
· Must possess thorough knowledge of ticket redemptions, redemptions rules and restrictions and be able to handle customer service issues involving guests of all ages.
· Must maintain a professional attitude with a clean and friendly appearance to ensure quality impressions to patrons and must refrain from any negative comments or body expressions to customers.
· Must be organized and able to pay attention to sounds and sight details in a crowded and noisy situation, particularly when handling multi-tasks.
· The ability to perform multiple tasks.
· Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
· Must possess the ability to work well with all employees and maintain a mutual respect for your colleagues.
· Must possess the ability to maintain a professional image, and relationship between
· customers and vendors whom business transactions occur as well as the ability to work well with all employees and maintain a mutual respect for your colleagues.
· Good character, dependable, ve1y responsible and be serious about the job.
· Ability to speak Spanish is very beneficial to this business in our locality, although not a requirement.
Education & Experience Requirements:
· Experience in customer service preferred.
· High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Must possess a current valid driver's license throughout employment.
· Obtaining and maintaining a current health card is required throughout employment.
· Must successfully pass Background Check.
Physical Requirement:
· Be able to stand at least eight (8) hours.
· Must successfully complete a drug screening test prior to appointment.
· Physically able to perform duties assigned.
· Occasionally work extended shifts as assigned, some weekends and holiday.
