Host / Greeter at Colorado Sake Co.

Colorado Sake Co. is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Host to join our team. The Host sets the stage for our guests' experience. They are the first and last impression to all of our guests. If you are someone who likes to multitask and keep busy by talking with guests, answering questions, and positively impacting the energy of the restaurant, then this is the position for you.

Once hired, you will be trained on Carbonara to better assist with the guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly Welcome Guests: Greet guests as they arrive with a friendly attitude and a welcoming smile. Make sure they feel comfortable and excited for their experience.
• Seating & Reservations: Manage reservations, greet walk-ins, and seat guests in a timely manner. Keep the flow of seating organized and efficient.
• Guest Relations: Provide guests with information about our sake offerings, events, and the story behind Colorado Sake Company.
• Waitlist Management: Organize and maintain the waitlist during busy times, ensuring guests are informed of wait times and updates.
• Support Staff: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and the rest of the team to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service.
• Clean & Maintain Host Area: Keep the entryway and host stand neat, tidy, and organized.
• Create a Positive Experience: Ensure that every guest’s visit begins with a positive, memorable interaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
