What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERL Non-Student Animal Care position at Colorado State University?
Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning/removing manure from stalls and paddocks
- Inspect horses for signs of injury or illness
- Washing & disinfecting stalls, buckets, tools, drinkers, and equipment
- Feeding horses (mares, foals, and stallions) – hay, grain, and supplements
- General barn upkeep and grounds/facilities maintenance
- Additional duties as directed
- Equine/livestock experience
- Early morning, late afternoon, weekend, and holiday availability
- Experience driving a truck & trailer, skid loader, and/or tractor
