The Rosenberg group at the Center for Vectorborne Infectious Diseases at Colorado State University is advertising for a post-doctoral level Orise fellow position. This job is located in Fort Collins, CO. The fellow would develop analytical methods for identification of cis-regulatory genomic domains associated with arbovirus infection in mosquitoes, using Rift Valley fever virus as a model system. This will entail cross-validation of CUT&RUN and RNA-Seq datasets. Wet lab work and mosquito rearing are required. Required-
Background and experience in computational biology and statistics
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Interest in mosquito-virus interactions
Preferred skills-
