Admissions Advisor
Be an advocate for education in this important role where you will interact with prospective students in support of their decision to attend the University.

What you’ll do
Help guide prospective students through the admissions process in accordance with all regulatory accreditation standards and requirements;
compliantly abide by the all policies and procedures established by the University.
- Conduct thorough phone interviews and email correspondence to determine the educational needs, interests, motivation, and potential concerns of our prospective students.
- Develop, manage, and fulfill action plans to help realize individual and departmental student-population goals.
- Partner with other departments, including Financial Aid and Academics, to ensure a positive experience for every student.
Qualifications
What is required
- Ability to succeed within a fast-paced environment, remain flexible, and adapt to change
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines
- Excellent verbal / telephonic and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with individuals from a highly diverse array of backgrounds
- Ability to succeed independently while working in a team environment
- Computer proficiency; experience with Windows and Microsoft suite preferred, be able to manage multiple browsers and monitors simultaneously
- High school education or equivalent; college degree from an institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.
S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) preferred
- One or more years of experience in sales and / or customer service preferred
- Post-secondary higher-education admissions experience preferred
