Pay : $78,000-$85,000, generous benefits including 401k matching, 100% employer-paid premiums for health, dental, vision; paid vacation, paid holidays; $40 cell phone stipend
The Assistant Director - Supportive Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Supportive Services team, ensuring that all Colorado Village Collaborative (CVC) sites deliver safe, stable, healing, and supportive environments for residents, staff, volunteers, and the broader community. This role supports the development, implementation, and management of high-quality supportive services programming and collaborates closely with internal teams, external partners, and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Program Oversight :
- Provide direction, planning, and leadership for Peer Support and Case Management programs.
- Directly supervise Program Manager - Supportive Services ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, and operation plans for supportive services.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the Supportive Services team.
- Act as a liaison between supportive services and other CVC departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in crisis resolution and provide guidance to address challenges within the programs.
- Strategic Planning and Partnerships :
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and external organizations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Programs to develop strategic goals for Peer Support and Case Management programs, ensuring alignment with CVC's mission and values.
- Identify opportunities for program growth and improvement based on emerging trends and best practices.
- Budget and Resource Management :
- Assist in preparing, managing, and monitoring program budgets to ensure responsible allocation and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Secure resources for program delivery, including partnerships, grants, and community support.
- Metrics and Reporting :
- Oversee HMIS data collection and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with funder and organizational requirements.
- Establish and monitor program success metrics, working with Program Managers to ensure goals are achieved.
- Report program outcomes and recommendations to the Senior Director of Programs.
- Staff Development and Supervision :
- Mentor and coach supervisory staff, supporting their professional growth and leadership capacity.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure staff are trained in trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and other relevant areas.
- Compliance and Safety :
- Ensure supportive services adhere to all legal, regulatory, and funding requirements.
- Promote a safe and equitable work environment, implementing trauma-informed practices across all sites.
- Additional Duties :
- Support organizational initiatives and participate in cross-departmental collaboration as needed.
- Take on special projects or responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Director of Programs.

Physical Requirements :
The position requires the ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks may involve prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 40 lbs. Additional requirements include occasional reaching, bending, crouching, or kneeling, along with manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and technology. Visual and auditory ability to respond to tasks and ensure safety are also essential.
