ColorCoat, Inc., is the largest paint and coatings applicator in the United States, proudly serving window and door manufacturers with multiple facilities nationwide. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at our Kinston, NC location.

About the Role
As a Production Supervisor at ColorCoat, Inc., you will oversee daily production operations, ensuring that production targets, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met. This position requires a hands-on leader who can motivate, train, and lead employees while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Lead, manage and direct shift personnel to achieve production goals defined by the Plant Manager.
- Train, coach, and motivate employees to promote peak performance and engagement.
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish, fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment.
- Lead by example in demonstrating proper techniques to operators that safely improves performance.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety training and oversee weekly safety audits.
- Report safety concerns and incidents promptly to the Plant Manager.
- Operational Oversight
- Take directions from the Plant Manager to plan, assign, and direct work to meet production schedules.
- Determine the plants daily and weekly schedule in order to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and maintain appropriate stock levels of consumables.
- Assist with daily production reporting and performance evaluations.
- Oversee process improvements and address production issues proactively.
- Allocate manpower on a daily and hourly basis to relieve production bottlenecks and maintain production flow.
- Technical Expertise
- Work with the Painters and oversee and maintain the painting area, ensuring equipment, tools, and supplies are clean, organized, and functional.
- Ensure proper preparation of paint, mixing supplies, and equipment according to supplier specifications.
- Assist in Monitoring quality control by painting QA samples and documenting results.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the paint booth, oven, and related equipment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in safety procedures, including training and compliance.
- Hands-on knowledge of production processes, especially in painting or coatings (preferred).
- Ability to work in varying environments (heat and cold) as needed.
