What we’re looking for:
As the Chargeback Specialist, you’ll play a meaningful role in the Accounting department by performing research and responding to customer chargebacks in accordance with Colossal’s policies and procedures. This role reports directly to the CFO.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with internal partners including customer service, and compliance team to resolve escalations.
- Analyze and assess chargeback trends to inform fraud prevention strategies.
- Use complex decision making when reviewing chargeback network codes.
- Provide back up documentation to counter chargeback dispute.
- Monitor account activity to recognize fraud.
- Communicate with internal team leads regarding dispute inquiries.
- Navigate multiple systems to maintain accurate dispute resolution reporting.
- Track and monitor win/loss rates.
- Meet strict deadlines for countering disputes.
- Adapt to changing policies and ensure all cases are handled appropriately.
- Be adaptable and willing to develop pertinent industry knowledge.
Our ideal candidate:
- A minimum of 2 years experience working with chargebacks.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Strong work ethic and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high level of confidentiality.
- Exceptional communication skills (phone, written and in person.)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate computer software (Google Suite.)
- Braintree and Stripe system experience a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
