What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Colossus Bread?
Colossus Bread in San Pedro, CA is looking for one part-time barista to join our strong team. Currently, hours offered would range from 10 to 15 per week. We are located on 2311 S. Alma St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Candidate must be available 6:30am to 3pm Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Responsibilities
- Serve customers pastry, bread, and coffee in a fast-paced neighborhood cafe
- Assist in syrup preparation and share dish and cleaning responsibilities with team
- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Prepare hot food using a warming oven
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Interact with customers regularly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a server or barista
- High integrity with a great attendance and reliability record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 35lbs
